The Outeniqua Powervan offers a unique experience as you travel on the Outeniqua Power Van’s rail bus from George on the Oudtshoorn railway-pass. The stunning beauty of the Outeniqua Mountains unfolds as you travel one of South Africa’s most scenic routes. Oudtshoorn – The Ostrich Capital of the World and Home to the World Famous Cango Caves

Attakwas Trail run The Attakwaskloof pass is a national treasure and steeped in tradition with the first settlers utilizing this unforgiving 300 year old route etched into the mountains by the tuskers over millions of years. A previous inhospitable place only utilized by 4×4 vehicles and mountain bikers are now open to all those trail run junkies – 19th of December it will host the inaugural Attakwas Extreme Trail run over 29 kilometres, starting in Paardebont and finishing at Bonniedale Guest farm.

Sedgefield – Slow Town Living

Join the Sedge Slow Fun-Run & Sandcastle Beach Fun on 19 December 2015 for a sizzling start to summer. Enjoy a little family fun in the sun on one of the Garden Route’s best beaches.

This year’s event will kick off with a 5km Fun Run, followed by an amateur sand-sculpting competition with this year’s theme being ‘Marine Creatures’.

Knysna – Naturally

The Southern Comfort Knysna Blues Festival is the first Blues-dedicated music event in the Garden Route and will showcase both world-renowned musicians and local talent. Taking place on the 19th December from 12h00 at the Mitchell’s Brewery lagoon-side venue the event will feature an impressive line-up of eight Blues and Blues-inspired bands.

Plettenberg Bay – It’s a Feeling

The Barn will showcase Live Shows from the 14th – 31st of December 2015.
