“We enjoyed the stay at Blommekloof. It was an excellent place to stay. I will again book at Blommekloof because it was such a relaxing stay. Thank you for your assistance in this place which I am recommending to everyone I am talking to about my holiday. Susan & Family. May 2018”
Blommekloof offers two Self-Catering Cottages near Ruiterbos, between Mossel Bay & Oudtshoorn.
This tranquil 16 hectare farm is situated in Leeukloof, a hidden valley at the foot of the Robinson’s Pass in the Outeniqua Mountain range. It’s a tranquil getaway centrally situated between the Klein Karoo and Garden Route coastline.
It’s a great destination for birding, hiking, fynbos watching, mountain biking (MTB), off-road motor cycling, and motor bike touring.
Privately owned and managed, expect a relaxing stay with a personal touch. Activities on-site include nature walks and fishing (catch & release) in one of their three dams, suitable for swimming as well. Ducks, geese, chickens, cows and dogs are residents, amongst others.
Blommekloof is the ideal place at which to relax and unwind.
Accommodation consists of a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom Cottage, both tastefully furnished and fully equipped for self-catering purposes. Both are fully enclosed.
Blommekloof is a child and pet friendly Garden Route holiday accommodation.
Ideal for couples, families and group of friends.

Blommekloof Farm is totally off the grid – they harvest all their own water and run on solar and gas. Although they are solar operated, the kitchens are well equipped with fridges / freezers and microwaves, however the microwave is for heating and not for cooking. Regret no hairdryers are allowed as they flatten the batteries. They request guests use water and electricity sparingly due to the drought and the solar.
Ample off-street parking.
